Sour Cream Chocolate Chip Cake


6 tablespoons butter, softened

1 cup sugar
2 eggs
11 / 3 cups flour
1½ teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 cup mini semisweet chocolate chips
1 tablespoon sugar
Mix butter and sugar until blended. Beat in eggs one at a time. In separate bowl, stir baking powder, baking soda, and cinnamon into flour, then blend with creamed mixture. Mix in sour cream. Pour batter into greased and floured 8×10-inch baking pan. Scatter chocolate chips evenly over batter. Then sprinkle 1 tablespoon sugar over top. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes or until cake just begins to pull away from sides of pan.
