Teriyaki Drummers

Serves 4

Cooking time: 10-15 minutes
Teriyaki – a phenomenally simple Japanese invention, is
any combination of soy, sesame, garlic and ginger, and is
very tasty. If you are a garlic fiend or a ginger worshipper
this is a good one to tinker around with to suit your tastes.
8 chicken or turkey drumsticks
150 ml dark soy sauce
2 tablespoons sesame oil
2 large garlic cloves, crushed
1 tablespoon fresh ginger, finely chopped or grated
Mix together the oils, soy sauce, ginger and garlic and simply brush the mixture over your drumsticks as they cook over hot coals. Allow 10-15 minutes for the drumsticks, turning them frequently during cooking so they are evenly cooked.
